The video converter translates clips between containers and codecs: MP4, AVI, MOV, MKV and WebM in any direction. Useful when a device or app doesn't support the source format — an old player that can't read MKV, or a platform that requires MP4.

Upload a video file, choose the output format, and download the result. Accepted inputs include MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, WebM, plus FLV, WMV, 3GP, TS. MP4 (H.264/AAC) is universal and works on any device or platform, MOV is Apple's format, MKV is a flexible container for any codec and subtitles, AVI is an older format for maximum compatibility, and WebM (VP9/Opus) is optimized for the web.

Conversion runs on the server via ffmpeg; the file is deleted immediately after processing and never stored anywhere. The maximum source file size is 50 MB, so this tool is built for short clips. To change the resolution, use the video resolution changer, and to pull out just the audio, use extract audio from video.
