Number to Words
Spell a number out in words. Useful for documents and accounting.
The "number to words" tool spells out a number and writes a monetary amount out with its fractional part in words. Enter a value and get it written out as text, with a separate line giving the amount in a format like "one thousand two hundred dollars and 00 cents," correctly formatted.
This is mainly needed for documents: contracts, invoices, receipts, and payment forms conventionally duplicate an amount in words so it can't be quietly altered. Writing out large numbers by hand is tedious and easy to get wrong, while the tool does it automatically and consistently every time.
Whole and decimal numbers up to the trillions are supported; the decimal part is treated as cents. Everything is computed right in your browser, with no data sent anywhere.
