Calories Burned by Activity
How many calories you burn walking, running, swimming and other activities.
This calculator shows how many calories you burn during a workout or activity. The calculation is based on MET values (metabolic equivalent of task): each activity has its own intensity, which combined with your weight and duration gives you the calories burned via the formula: calories = MET × 3.5 × weight (kg) ÷ 200 × minutes.
Choose an activity (walking, running, cycling, swimming, strength training, yoga and more), enter your weight and duration, and get an estimate of calories burned. The higher the weight and intensity, the more calories burn in the same amount of time.
The figures are approximate: actual calorie burn depends on pace, terrain, technique and individual factors. To figure out your daily calorie needs, use the calorie calculator.
