This tool shrinks an image file’s size without noticeable quality loss, using a specialized optimizer for each format: jpegoptim for JPG, pngquant for PNG, gifsicle for GIF, and cwebp for WebP. That gives noticeably better results than simply lowering the quality slider in a general-purpose converter.

This is useful when a website loads slowly because of heavy images, an email exceeds its attachment limit, or you want to share a photo faster over a messaging app. The file format doesn’t change during compression.

Upload an image, adjust the quality slider (80 by default — a good balance of size and quality), and download the result. Processing happens on the server, and the file is deleted right after processing. Need to change the format too? Use the image converter. The maximum size is 25 MB.
